Who Am I?

Hi there! I’m Zach, the maker and creator behind Print Press Sew. This blog is where I share my adventures in three awesome hobbies: 3D printing, ham radio, and sewing.

My Maker Journey

My 3D printing journey began in 2020 when I got my first printer. Since then, I’ve been designing and printing all sorts of useful items. Many of these projects help make my portable radio operations better or solve everyday problems around the house.
When I’m not tinkering with my 3D printer, you can find me enjoying Parks On The Air (POTA) with my ham radio equipment. There’s something special about setting up a portable station in nature and making contacts with fellow radio enthusiasts.
My newest hobby is sewing. I picked it up as a way to learn a fresh skill and to create custom bags and attachments for my radio gear. It’s amazing how these different hobbies connect and complement each other!

Why I Blog

I created this blog for two main reasons: to document my own journey and to help others learn these skills. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been making things for years, I hope you’ll find something useful, inspiring, or just plain interesting here.
What I love most about these hobbies is how they challenge my creativity and push me to keep learning new things. I’m always growing my skills, and I’m happy to share that process with you.
